He shared with me about his life and I asked him, “Would you do it all over again?”
“No way. Once was more than enough,” he said. His response surprised me.
“That’s kinda morbid,” I thought as I walked away. Twenty years later, I’m starting to understand where that guy was coming from.
Some say the movie is heresy and sets forth too casual a view of God. Others say it’s life changing and gave them hope.
In my circle of friends and family, there’s a good smattering of opinions on both sides.
It feels weird to admit this. Childish even.
For years, I believed in a shepherd myth.
For whatever reason, I thought of shepherds as weak. There’s ample evidence to the contrary but I found it easy to forget.
“They will both either live forever or die forever but they cannot do both. They are much the same in that way.” says a Voice.
“But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”
